Managed IT services

Managed IT services in Montreal

We don't have an office in Montreal, and we'd rather say so right away. Ours is in Boucherville, on the other side of the bridge. In practice it changes almost nothing: the large majority of requests are handled remotely the same day, and when someone needs to come, we come.

Who it's for

For the 3-to-100-person Montreal business with nobody in-house for IT, or with someone who shouldn't be carrying it alone. For the company whose server is reaching end of life. For the one that just received its cyber insurer's questionnaire. And for the one with Macs nobody manages.

What a Montreal provider may not offer you

Most IT providers manage PCs and tolerate Macs. Here, both are handled at the same level, by the same team: inventory, updates, encryption, applications and security, whether the machine is a Mac or a Windows PC. If your leadership is on Macs and your accounting on Windows, that's exactly the case we cover every day.

Where we travel

Areas served: Ville-Marie and downtown, Plateau-Mont-Royal, Rosemont, Villeray, Ahuntsic, Saint-Laurent, Côte-des-Neiges, Outremont, Westmount, Mount Royal, Verdun, LaSalle, Lachine, Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve and the east end of the island.

Almost everything is handled remotely, and that's faster for you than waiting for a visit. We come on site when hardware needs hands on it: replacing a workstation, installing network equipment, opening a new office. The east end of the island is fifteen minutes from us.

What we cover

Frequently asked questions

What does it cost?

$139 per user, per month, plus taxes. Everything is included: security, network, data governance, Mac and Windows workstations, and your client portal. No cybersecurity surcharge, no network surcharge, no project surcharge. A one-time onboarding fee applies at the start, based on the size of your team.

You're in Boucherville. Is that a problem for a Montreal business?

Not in practice. The vast majority of the work happens remotely, and a provider in your neighbourhood doesn't answer an email or backup problem any faster. Where proximity really counts is hardware, and we travel for that. If you need someone on site several times a week, tell us plainly on the first call: we'll tell you just as plainly if we're not the right fit.

We already have someone in-house. Does this still work?

Yes, and it's common. Your technician keeps direct contact with staff and everything they know about your business. We take what's heavy or specialized: security, monitoring, updates, network, governance. We agree in writing, up front, on who does what.

How does switching providers work?

In stages, with no day of downtime. We start with a full inventory: accounts, devices, licences, access, backups. We take over access one item at a time, keeping your current provider in place until everything has moved. You decide when to cut.

How long does onboarding take?

It depends on the state of your environment, and we honestly can't know before looking at it. So the inventory comes first. A provider who promises you a duration before seeing your setup is guessing.

Is cybersecurity included?

Yes. Multi-factor authentication, email protection, threat detection and response are part of the price. It's worth asking every provider you compare: several advertise a lower price and bill security on top.

Where do we start?

With a picture of your environment: what you have, what's up to date, what isn't, what exposes you. You keep that picture, whether or not you decide to work with us.
